About PHOEBE GOLDEN
Phoebe, a 7-pound Yorkshire Terrier, came to the rescue with her sister Summer, both owner surrenders. They were deemed too small for their larger owners and were constantly crated. Phoebe was likely purchased from a Yorkie breeder in San Bernardino County, and she exhibits the conformity of a … purebred. Phoebe would do best as an only dog for her first year to allow her to settle in and develop a sense of safety, as Yorkies are highly intelligent and soulful. Currently, Phoebe is in a foster home with a small dog, where she is confident and outgoing. However, she would thrive as the top dog in an experienced Yorkie owner’s home, as she is playful, sweet, loves naps, and is very smart. Phoebe is potty trained but will need time to adjust to a new family, home, and schedule. She may experience separation anxiety for the first six months, as this will be her third home. Phoebe is considered a “purse” dog and is seeking a semi-retired home with an adult present all day. If interested, please apply for Phoebe today.
