Anthony is now awaiting a loving forever home in the Northeast US, where he will thrive in a multi-dog household with patient adults or families with older children who can respect his space and help him gain confidence. While Anthony’s past trauma may require slow introductions and consistent positive reinforcement, he has shown a desire to play, especially with calm dogs, and coexists peacefully with dogs of all sizes, as well as cats and other animals. He travels well by car, walks nicely on a leash, and responds well to crate training and basic commands once trust is established.
