“Hi there, my name is Cara and I’m one of six beautiful Labrador/Shepherd mix puppies. Tragically, our mother was struck and killed by a car in San Antonio, Texas when we were just 3 weeks old. The heartbreak of that day was profound, but we are incredibly grateful to the kind people who found us … and reached out to a rescue organization. Now, at 4 months old, we are happy, healthy, and ready to find our forever families on the East Coast. Each of us is an affectionate, well-socialized sweetheart, getting along wonderfully with everyone we meet, young and old, as well as other dogs. While we are still typical rambunctious puppies, chasing toys and chewing with unbridled enthusiasm, we are also eager to please and respond well to schedules and training. I, personally, weigh 35 lbs and am simply bursting with love to give. We have all been vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and are more than prepared to join our new families. If you think I might be the girl for you, please come visit – I can promise you’ll fall head over heels the moment we meet. I’m so excited to find my forever home!”
