Get ready to meet the one and only Leela, the 14-year-old Yorkshire Terrier who’s living proof that age is just a number! Despite her senior status, this little firecracker doesn’t let it slow her down. Abandoned in a parking lot, Leela’s microchip led to a dead end, so we stepped in to help. After … taking care of her skin infection and giving her some dental TLC (she’s even missing an eye, poor thing!), Leela is ready to shine. Described as a spunky terrier, she’s a leash-walking pro who loves outings. Squeaky toys and tug-of-war are her jam, and she’s a social butterfly who adores people. Good with small dogs and tolerant of larger ones, Leela may chase cats outside. Older kids would be a great match for her, and although she’s mostly potty trained, she’s not a fan of crates. Leela has arthritis, but we’ve got her on medication, and her heart murmur is nothing to worry about at the moment.
