Rhett

About Rhett

Here comes Rhett, a delightful 9-month-old pup with a heart of gold and a story of resilience. Though his life started off quite roughly, evident in the gashes and wounds on his body when he was rescued, Rhett is making incredible strides in building his confidence, especially when it comes to leash walking. At a healthy 38 lbs, this little bundle of affection craves attention, his tail wagging like a helicopter when his foster parent speaks to him sweetly. Rhett gets along wonderfully with other dogs, humans (even children), and has no issues with his 2-year-old human foster brother or his two furry foster siblings. He’s house-trained and already knows how to “sit” like a good boy, showcasing his incredible intelligence as he makes constant eye contact, eagerly listening for the next command. With a quirky little grin, Rhett delights in rolling in the grass under the sun, still learning to be a puppy and starting to hop around the backyard with his floppy ears – an absolutely adorable sight. Rhett needs a patient and loving family to help him continue gaining confidence, and he’s sure to be the very best friend to his future family. Currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, this sweet and cute boy is ready to be transported around the country to his forever home.
