“Hi I’m River! I am a sweet and spunky 8-week-old shepherd mix that cannot wait to meet my furever family! I was born with swimmer’s syndrome and needed some help from my foster mom to teach me how to walk properly and get stronger, and in no time I was not only walking well but running and … jumping! I love to play and cuddle with my big foster brothers. And yes, sometimes I can get a little annoying to them as I’m still learning boundaries at playtime. But I’ll learn! I get very excited when my foster mom calls my name and love to come running! I also love to be outside and explore. Who knew leaves were so much fun to play with!! And I’m learning very quickly that outside is the place that I need to go potty. So by if you’re looking for an adventurous, sweet little girl that loves to be petted, then I might be for you!”
